Between the marshes and the ocean stands the majestic and imposing silhouette of a castle that looks like a fortress. Surrounded by a large forest, the Castle of Suscinio was above all the favorite hunting residence of the Dukes of Brittany.
The Castle of Suscinio was built at the dawn of the XIIIth century on the order of Pierre de Dreux, on a marshy ground, a few steps from the ocean.
